My son was anxious to get his new shoes for school. He would tell me constantly "Mommy, I need my new shoes." I kept telling him to wait and that the closer to school it got we would get better coupons. He didn't believe me. He had found a pair that he liked that were $46 which I was fine paying. It was a good brand and I knew they would last. But I knew that the $46 would come down closer to school time.
I waited with all my coupons in hand until JCPenney came out with their $10 off $25 purchase coupon this weekend. His shoes went on sale for $29.99. They let me pair the $10 off coupon with a 15% off coupon I had. These two made the shoes $16.99. I then used a $10 JCPenney gift card I got for reading emails on MyPoints. So, I paid $6.99 for his $46 pair of shoes. He was happy with his shoes and I was happy paying less than $10 for a good pair of shoes.
Awesome deal, I shop at JCPenney a lot too and you can always combine their 15% customer satisfaction survey coupons with any other offer. FYI in case you didn't know.
