Oh, How I Love The Commissary!

I made our monthly trip to the Commissary yesterday and wanted to tell you about a few of the deals I got.  There's no pic because we were rushing to put it all up.  I'm not listing all that I got - just some of the good deals.

- Oscar Mayer Carving Board Sandwich Meats $2
(used $1/1 coupons from the 8/7 SS insert)
made them $1 each

- Nabisco Honey Maid Graham Crackers $2
(used $1/1 printables no longer available)
made them $1 each

- Minute Maid Juice Boxes 10 packs $1.99
(used $1/1 printables from HERE)
made them $.99 each

- Frosted Mini Wheats $1.99
(used $1/2 coupon from an insert)
(sent off for $5 Gas Card)
made them $.24 each after rebate

- Children's Advil $3
(used $5/3 coupon from the 8/14 RP insert)
made them $1.33 each

- Tortilla Stuffers $1.79
(used $1/1 coupons from the 8/7 GM insert)
made them $.79 each

- Ballpark Franks $1.29
(used $.75/2 coupon from the 8/7 RP insert)
made them $.92 each

- Pull-Ups Wipes Tub $1.99
(used $2/1 coupon that came with a sample)
made it FREE

- Butterball Turkey Bacon $2
(used $.65/1 coupons from the 6/26 SS insert)
made them $1.35 each

- Cucumbers $.50 each

- Mushrooms Whole 8 oz $1.09

- Chicken Breast $1.74 lb

- Chicken Drumsticks $.84 lb

- Ribeye Steaks $1.74 lb

- Ground Beef $1.52 lb

My total before coupons was over $215, but I ended up paying $152.20 and most of that was meats that will last us nearly 2 months.  So, it is possible to save money even if your store does not double or accept competitor coupons (the Commissary doesn't.)

Prices vary by Commissary and seem to change monthly.
