Using Up Carrots

My daughter went through a phase where she ate baby carrots everyday with ranch dressing.  As long as she would eat it I would buy it.  Now that I have a fridge full of it she's tired of them.  As I was cleaning out the fridge today I found a pack that needed to be used asap.  I googled a recipe and found a super simple one that made her love carrots again. I made a few minor changes, but the original recipe can be found HERE.

Easy Brown Sugar Glazed Carrots

Ingredients:

- 16 oz of baby carrots

- 2 tablespoons of butter

- 1/3 cup of brown sugar

- 1 cup of water

- dash of salt

Directions:

Add all ingredients together in a sauce pan and mix well.  Heat to boiling over high heat.  Continue boiling under medium heat for 20-25 minutes or until the carrots are tender and most of the liquid has evaporated.

Very tasty!
