My Favorite Conversation of The Week

There are just some things that us grown ups don't quite get sometimes.  And kids understand so much more than we give them credit for.

Madison:  Mommy, I know that you love us.
Me:  Yes, I do.  More than you will ever know.
Madison:  Oh, I know.  Wanna know how I know?
Me:  How?
Madison:  You eat the weird shaped pancakes and give us the pretty ones.
(I never knew they noticed, but yes I do!)
Madison:  And I know that Daddy loves you.
Me:  Yes, he does.  How do you know?
Madison:  Because he brings you those pretty red velvet cupcakes.

I think we lose sight of what's really important in this life sometimes.  I think that it's the small things that really make this world amazing. :o)  I hope everyone had a great week!
