My Thoughts Exactly

I came across THIS article this morning and wanted to share.  I never had extravagant parties growing up, but I enjoyed them just the same.  I'm glad my parents didn't go into debt over a birthday party.  The main thing is I felt loved and that's all that matters.  I don't have big parties for my children.  The only times I paid for them at local parks and such was when I had HUGE discounts.  Last year I got lucky and ended up getting TWO parties at Jump N Jacks for only $100 - less than what one party would have cost ($150.) And since all decorations and utensils were included it ended up being less than what I would have spent having a party at home.  However, that deal was pretty much a once in a lifetime deal so I'm sure it won't be happening again.

You can get creative and have a nice birthday party without breaking the bank.  The first places I hit is Target's Dollar Spot or the Dollar Tree. And always keep an eye out for clearance items.
