As a member of BzzAgent I was chosen to try the Philips Satin Perfect Epilator. I hate shaving and don't want to dish out thousands of dollars for Lazer Hair Removal. So, I was super excited to try this product out.
I thought that the product was cute and it came with several attachments and a nice bag for them all. I haven't tried out all of the included parts, but I plan to.
I was really nervous about how painful it would be because in all honesty it yanks your hairs out quickly. But, the good thing is that it yanks the root out as well which means that the hair grows back slower. Meaning a lot less shaving. I like that. I started out with my bikini area and braced myself for the pain. I'm not going to lie there was some stinging, but it didn't last that long. It was very much like getting a wax. I didn't like the pain, but I loved the results! My skin was silky smooth afterwards.
Get this - The hairs did not grow back for 17 days. That's right. Over two weeks without shaving. For me, that was well worth the little bit of pain. After using the epilator a couple of times the stinging got better. I guess I got used to it. All in all, I think this is a great product and am happy for the opportunity to try it out.
