Savannah Wildlife Refuge

Every year when it warms up enough we load up the car with snacks and a picnic lunch and head to the Savannah Wildlife Refuge.  My kids LOVE riding along the wildlife drive and watching the animals.  Today we took our first trip this year.  For some reason the picnic table was gone so we had to have our picnic on the ground, but it was more fun that way. We were roughing it. ;o)

 

This guy didn't have a care in the world.

I just loved how this turtle was laying on the log. It made me giggle.

If you're ever in this area I highly suggest taking a run through the wildlife drive.  We see something interesting each time we go.
