Publix Trip 1-8-15


I wasn't really planning a trip this week, but then I realized that it was a gas card week. Yay!  For those who are new here I look at the $10 savings as savings on my groceries since I have to buy gas anyway.  I also planned on getting the red seedless grapes that would have pushed my fruit/vegetable total over $25 so I could use the Target competitor coupon, but nearly all the bags at my store looked moldy.  So, I didn't get to use the $5 off $25 coupon. :-(
Here's what I got today:

made them $1.07 each

(used $2.15/1 coupon from the 1/4 SS insert)
made it $3.85

(2) Eggland's Best dozen eggs $2.50 (reg. $2.95)
(used $.35/1 coupons from the 11/2 SS insert - doubled to $.70/1)
made them $1.80 each

(4) Hormel Entree's $4.99 (reg $7.99)
(used $1/1 printables from HERE)
made them $3.99 each

(1) Soules Beef For Fajitas $3.50 (reg $4.19) - I'll be using it for quesadilla's.
(used $.50/1 peelie - doubled to $1/1)
made it $2.50

(1) Flintstone's Vitamins $5.24 (reg. $6.99)
(used $1/1 tearpad)
made it $4.24

(1) 5 lb box of Halo's $5.99 (reg. $6.99)
(used $.50/1 coupon from the 12/14 SS insert - doubled to $1/1)
made it $4.99

(1) bag of cherries $2.81 (reg. $5.66)

(1) pound of strawberries $2.99 (reg. $4.99)

(7) red delicious apples $3.00 (reg. $7.19)
(got $.25 back from Checkout 51)
made it $2.75 for all

(1) pack of mushrooms $1.99 (reg. $2.29)

(1) gallon of Green Wise Organic milk $6.53

(1) $50 gas card

Total before sale & coupons:  $178.09
used $10 off $50 coupon
Paid:  $102.98 - includes a $50 gas card so like paying $52.98 for $128.09 worth of groceries.
