Miracle Gro Gro-ables

I love growing my own food. There's just something extra satisfying about bringing something out of your yard and putting it on your table. Gardening is not easy, but it's every bit worth the effort. At our old house we had tons of room for a garden. But after moving to a subdivision we now have more "house space," but less "yard space."

For the past few years I've been growing veggies in containers which was effective, but not what I really wanted to do. Then a couple of weeks ago my sweet hubby came home with the materials to build me a nice sized garden. This little momma was happy!

I decided to plant the things we use most often and can grow well in our time zone. Since I started a little late in the season I couldn't really start seeds indoors so I asked around and researched online. I ended up getting the Miracle-Gro Gro-ables Kit with 8 Seed Pods. What I like is that these little babies are guaranteed to grow. That's right. If they don't grow I get my money back. I never got my money back on those little seed packets I used to buy at the dollar store that didn't grow a single thing.

It's so simple to plant them there's really no way you can screw them up. I like that.
All you do is remove the paper lid, press it down into soil that it's even with the top layer, water it daily and watch it grow. They're perfect for pot planting also if you don't have room for a bigger garden.

I'm really excited and so are the kids. I picked the perfect time to plant them because it's been raining everyday for the past few days. I'll keep you posted on how it goes.
