Today is National Stamp Out Hunger Day! That means you can place non-perishable items in your mailbox or in a bag by your mailbox and your letter carrier will pick up and deliver to local food banks or pantries. This is a wonderful program, guys! Here are some facts to think about:

- As the economy worsened food banks have experienced a 30% demand in need.

- Over 49 million Americans are at risk for hunger.

- Research suggests children with malnutrition suffer high levels of physical and emotional problems.
