What an Awesome Summer Day!

We headed to the UGA Aquarium on Skidaway Island today to check out the critters, walk the trails and have a picnic under the gorgeous oaks by the water. I always check ahead for fees and such. With my hubby's military ID the cost for all 5 of us was only going to be $6. But to our surprise when we got there it was a free day in celebration of Jacque Cousteau's 100th birthday. They had free stickers, posters and cake for the little ones! What a great surprise! AND Georgia Public TV was there filming so we'll probably be on TV!

Then we stopped by Taco Bell and got some free Limeade Sparklers and Frozen Margarita's with our coupons from the 6/6 RP insert.

The ONLY complaint I have is that I wore my comfy flip flops and got my feet all dirty walking the trails. So, I didn't take the kiddos to Bass Pro for the activities and crafts like I had planned.  Can't go to the mall looking like Frodo Baggins!!!
