There's More Than One Way To Skin a Cat!

My hubby didn't fully understand how much I saved in coupons until I showed him my spreadsheet of how much I spend and how much I saved with coupons and sales. He then decided that he would test me. He's giving me $450 a month to buy all the groceries, formula, diapers etc. $450 a month is not a lot for a family of 5 especially when we spend approximately $150 -$200 on formula alone. Whatever is left over goes toward Christmas and other things. We started this at the beginning of July. Anyway I told him I wanted to go see Eclipse this weekend, but didn't want to use my budget money for it. He laughed and said no way - a deal is a deal. Sooooo....I went and got 10 boxes of Pop-Tarts with codes and got us 2 free movie tickets at poptartsflavorcard.com. Hahaha...Pop-Tarts are definitely in our budget. Guess the kiddos will be eating Pop-Tarts for breakfast this month. :o)~
