We all get to a point when dealing with medical bills where we just pay it to get it out of our hair. That's not always the best solution. It's always worth a phone call! We recently had to take our daughter to the emergency room and the insurance company said that our part was $297.14. I called and asked them to recheck it (as I always do) and sure enough it had been billed wrong. Our part ended up being $92. So, it was worth the 10 minute phone call just to check.
