Walgreens/Staples/Target Trips

I had to take my son to the doctor yesterday so I, of course, took advantage and stopped in at a few stores.  I hadn't been to Target in awhile and was mega pleased that they have added a lot to the grocery including a fresh produce section.  It sure would be nice if Publix would accept their coupons as competitors now that they have a produce section.  Just sayin' :o)  I also did find a few leftover 75% off clearance items, but not many.  I must be slacking this year because in the past few years I racked up some serious toy deals in their July clearance sales.

Anyway, here are the things I picked up:

Walgreens:

(2) Huggies Slip Ons diapers $9.49

(used $4/1 Walgreens coupons from the August coupon booklet)

(used $2/1 coupons from the 7/8 SS insert)

made them $3.49 each

(1) All Free & Clear $3.99

(used $1/1 coupon from the 7/29 RP insert)

made it $2.99

(1) Splenda 100 pack $2.99 with in ad coupon (Not pictured because I already gave it to my dad)

(used $1/1 printable from HERE)

made it $1.99

Total before sales & coupons:  $36.96

Paid:  $11.96

Target:

Transaction 1:

(5) Kellogg's Nutri-Grain Bars $2.54 each

(used $1/2 printables from HERE)

(used $1/3 Target printable from HERE)

Got back a $5 Target Gift Card for buying 5 participating items

made them $.94 each

(I also made sure to grab the boxes that have codes for Kellogg's Family Rewards.)

Transaction 2:

(2) Suave Kid's Body Wash $1.79

(used $.75/1 printable from HERE)

(used $1/2 Target printable from HERE)

made them $.54 each

(2) Market Pantry Fruit Snacks $1.69

(used $1/1 Target printable from HERE)

made them $.69 each

(3) Purell small bottles $.84 each

(used $1/3 coupon from the 7/29 SS insert)

made them $.61 each

(6) Bananas at $.24 each $1.44

(This was the first time I have ever paid per banana.  I've always paid by the pound and I wasn't sure of the weight and am not sure if it was a good deal or not.)

(1) Dora Bubble Bath on clearance $.84

= $6.57

(used $5 Target Gift Card from previous transaction)

Paid:  $1.57

Transaction 3 was the clearance toys.  I had to hurry and hide them as I came in the door so I'll have to look up what I got later.

Staples:

I broke all of this up into two transactions in order to get double the $.01 deals

(submitted for $11.98 in Easy Rebates)
made them $1 each

(4) Staples 100 pack paper clips $.01 each (reg. $1 each)

(12) Travel pack tissues $.01 each (reg. $.49 each)

(10) Two pocket folders $.01 each (reg. $.20 each)

(4) Bic Mechanical Pencils 5 pack $.25 each (reg. $2.49 each)

Total before sales & coupons:  $35.82
Paid:  $15.24
and will get back $11.98 in rewards
so it's like I paid only $3.26
