The Family Farm

This weekend we headed up to the family farm and looked around a little.  I love going out there because it's so peaceful and serene - much different than it is here.  It's my little get-away spot.  Way out in the middle of nowhere - just how I like it.  The only sounds were the cows moo'ing and the wind rustling through the corn.  Bliss.

My daddy was born and raised on this farm.  It's important to him and so it is to me.  I love watching him take the kids around telling them stories from him growing up - the same stories he told me when I was little.
