We all want to look our best, but we don't want to pay big prices for it. So, I checked with my good friend Kirsten about some cheaper brands of makeup that are comparable to the more expensive brands. I met Kirsten while she was living in the Savannah area. She got me hooked on scrapbooking before she moved. Kirsten is a Licensed Esthetician. She's a member of Estée Lauder's Northwest Regional Makeup Artistry Team (formally of the Southwest Regional Team) and has been trained by Kett Cosmetics in beauty airbrushing. She knows her stuff!
Here's the items she told me are great items for lower prices:
- Maybelline Great Lash Mascara and eyebrow gel - approx. $5
- Physician's Formula Mineral Pressed Powder (comparable to Estee Lauder's Double Wear Powder)
- Physician's Formula starter kit
- Pixi Makeup Kits
- Jemma Kid Makeup Kits
Go HERE to check out Kirsten's website, Makeup By Kirsten.
Thanks, Kir! Love ya!
