I made another deposit into my Squirrel Fund. I got my retirement money back from my last job. The reason I took it out is because I am not sure I will be going back into the Education Field and if I do it will be many years down the road. I figured we could use the money now to pay on our student loans. I did however take only $200 out to place in my Squirrel Fund.
This brings my Squirrel Fund total since 10-28-09 to $1,571.20.
I forgot to tell you that I placed this money in a high interest savings account. It won't yield tons of money, but anything is better than nothing. And that's what you would get if you just kept it sitting in a checking account. The best thing to do is shop around for the best interest rate. I know I don't have to tell you that the higher the interest rate the more money you'll make.
