KFC is joining the fight against breast cancer with a national "Buckets for the Cure" campaign, aimed at educating more women and men about breast health, generating support for the cause and attempting to make the single largest donation in the history of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
Through May 23, KFC will be dedicating special pink buckets to Komen for the Cure, with KFC restaurant operators having donated 50 cents for each pink bucket purchased by the operator before May 9.
KFC fans and supporters can find out more about the program by visiting http://www.bucketsforthecure.com/. At the site, you can read stories about people whose lives have been affected by the disease, upload your own story and even make a donation to support breast cancer education, screening and treatment programs.
