New Giveaway!

I admit that I am an Earth Day nut. I practice the three R's year-round (Reduce, Reuse & Recycle.) It drives my family crazy, but one day they will understand and appreciate that I clutter up the laundry room with all of those bags of bottles, cans and papers. For Earth Day I tried to think of a Giveaway for you guys that was "Green."

So, I decided that the next Giveaway would be a CVS Reusable Bag with the Green Bag Tag. That way you could save money while being "green." When you use a Reusable Bag with your Green Bag Tag at CVS you get it scanned and after 4 scans you get $1 ECB. That's $.25 each use. You can only get it scanned once per day, but it still adds up.

I understand that there will be some readers that do not have a CVS near them. If that is the case and you are chosen the winner, I will gladly get you a Walgreens, Target or Walmart Reusable bag. You just won't have the added benefit of the Green Bag Tag. Target does, however, give you $.05 off when you use a Reusable Bag.

Here's how I will choose the winner. Leave a comment on this post about being "Green." Comments must be made on this Blog Post and not on Facebook. The first comment will be given the number 1, the second number 2 and so on. On April 22 (Earth Day) I will randomly choose a number. The comment that matches that number wins. Please consider becoming a Fan on Facebook or a Follower. I'm not making it a requirement, but it helps me out.  Thanks to everyone who reads my blog and good luck!

  1. my mom actually has one of those cards she got recently at CVS and has been telling me about it. Now for my green comment: I've been making an effort to become eco-aware by doing my own gardening of course, nothing like fresh veggies-and using reusable bags when shopping. Paper and plastics are also recycled and we already recycle soda pop bottles and cans here in Maine and we've done some small household waste composting (coffee grinds, banana and fruit peels, etc...) now my daughter is convinced we need to get some red wigglers and then use the worm castings in the garden!

  2. We are trying our garden a different way this year, we have recycled giant black pots (ones trees come in) from a nursery. Our garden didn't do well last year, our soil isn't the best. But we got some good soil, compost and are giving this a go. My kids are enjyoing as we become more "green." We have been looking at other projects we can dive into next. Everyone is excited.

    This is a super giveaway
