My Carmex Skin Care Review and a New Giveaway!

I know everyone is familiar with Carmex and their line of lip care.  Well, they have a new line of Skin Care out now that is available at Walgreens, Walgreens.com and Drugstore.com. 

Because I'm a Carmex Blog Squad member Carmex sent me a wonderful kit full of their products including the new line of products to review.  When I opened the box the first thing I noticed was the packaging of the Skin Care bottles. They come in a no nonsense type of packaging that says "I work well." The eye catching bottles show that it's a quality product not unlike the rest of the Carmex line.

The new Skin Care line consists of the Healing Lotion and the Healing Cream. I've been using them both for several days to get a fair evaluation of them.  I used the Healing Cream on my feet because my poor feet catch it over the summer with my flip flop and sandal wearing.  When I first put on the Healing Cream I found it a little greasy on my hands and had to wipe some off on a towel.  However, my feet felt so much softer the next day and after 3 days of use I don't have those dry cracks on my heels anymore.  My hubby (who gives me foot rubs) could also tell the difference.  I really enjoyed the scent as well.  I've used similar products that I had to wash off because the smell was just too overpowering.  This is a product that will become a "regular" in my household.

When it comes to the Healing Lotion I used it on my hands for several days because I wash my hands frequently with antibacterial soap which makes them dry between my fingers and around my wedding rings.  I absolutely loved this lotion!  It didn't wear off and didn't have that waxy or greasy feel to it. The smell was very pleasant and didn't knock me out.  After I put some on my hands yesterday morning my daughter came to me and said "I smell 'sumpin good."  I held up my hand for her to smell and she asked me to give her some for her hands.  She kept asking for more of the "smell good stuff" all day.  It's good to have a product that works well and still smells good too! You also don't need a lot for the product to work - just a dab will do you.  This will become a "regular" in our house as well. 

And I must say that my new fave is the Carmex Moisture Plus Stick with Peach Tint.  I LOVE how it feels on my lips.  No need for lip gloss when you use this goodie! Now you can get soft lips while sporting a tinted pout.  I highly recommend trying this product.
