My Trip To Walgreens Yesterday

This is a great week for some Walgreens shopping!  On a side note, I'll have the deals up in a little bit.  Anyway, as most of you know we had a $3/1 Nivea For Men Body Wash coupon in yesterday's paper.  Walgreens has them priced at $2.50 each this week making for $.50 overage on each one.  Of course, by the time I got there they were completely sold out (I don't live in town) so I asked for a raincheck.  The cashier asked why they had sold out so fast and I showed her the $3/1 coupon.  She then says "Well, I'll just write you a raincheck for $3/1 - more money for us."  I said "No, you can write one for $2.50/1 since that is what the ad states."  We bantered back and forth.  She ended up writing it for $2.50/1, but I just wanted to remind everyone that you can get a raincheck if they are out of an item on sale and that they have to write it for the amount shown in the ad.  Most stores will do this unless it states in ad "No Rainchecks."  I know that Publix, CVS and Walgreens does them.
