Every year I do our own taxes. I keep very detailed records of our spending and I keep reciepts for medical spending. You can buy the software to do it at home for a fraction of the price of taking it to someone to do for you. H&R Block is also offering a Free Edition on their site. This is for people and families that don't have a lot of deductions and have pretty simple taxes to do. I'm also working on a list of Tax Tips for you guys as well.
